Delicious CandySpike sequence stripy socks, designed in collaboration with House of Cheviot in Hawick, Scotland, renowned as one of the world’s leading luxury sock manufacturers!

CandySpike is a series of Mimi Hammill patterns for 2021 that illustrate the sequence from a tiny section of a now infamous spike protein. The spike protein is the bit that vaccines are “teaching” our immune systems to recognise. So the spike protein is kind of a big deal and well worth immortalising in beautiful colours.

Made from a merino blend, the stripes on our luscious socks are available in two variants: the size 4-7 socks (pink heel) represent the first 33 nucleotides of location MT649402.1, and the size 7-11 (blue heel) the next 33 nucleotides.
